Christmas Day lunch rose and crown

Had Christmas lunch outside at rose and crown yesterday. They did a special for the day. Epcot didn’t feel as busy as food and wine. I wouldn’t buy the candlelight processional dining package as we watched it on Christmas Day easily from the back of the theatre.

Looks ok if slightly confusing with lamb and Yorkshire’s described as a traditional UK Xmas dinner too close to thanksgiving to sell Americans turkey I guess )

Hope you had a great day

I've never really been tempted to try Rose & Crown before (the usual thing of not wanting to be a 'Brit abroad') but that food looks pretty good, although I agree with theCMG that lamb and yorkies together is a bit odd.

Yorkies go really well with lamb especially if they are homemade and you use the joint fat in the yorkie tins

It looks a little school dinner-esque, I hope it was tasty enough! If we were in Disney over Christmas I'm sure I'd still want a 'traditional' dinner.

Whenever we have a roast meal it is an absolute must that the plates have Yorkies on them.

It sort of looks like a nice Sunday roast (I say sort of as I cannot see the roast potatoes) but it definitely does not look like a Christmas dinner to me.

I love yorkshire puddings and would eat them with any meat, but I would not put them on Christmas dinner, DH wanted to but I over ruled him.
