We drove straight back to Miami afterwards but my kids wanted the park time x
Our flight doesn’t land until 18.15 so I have booked us in to a MIA airport hotel on night 1. The time difference should mean we are up early on our first day so we were thinking we would take a slow drive up the coast to Cocoa on night 2 to do KSC the following day... then across to Orlando.

Can you recommend anywhere to stay over in Cocoa?

We stayed at the Best Western Ocean Beach hotel and suites, just opposite the pier on cocoa beach it was lovely 😊 it’s a nice trip up, we left early and there was hardly any traffic.

I’ve provisionally booked us in to the space shuttle inn in Titusville but the Best Western option sounds interesting. I was considering night 1 in Fort Lauderdale but I figure by the time we offboard and get through passport control we will just want to fall straight in to a bed!

Your probably best to, our flight got in just before 3 I don’t think immigration took that long and we had picked and packed the car in 2 hours but then hit rush hour up the i95 (it was a Friday afternoon)

It’s whatever you feel comfortable doing, I was the driver so didn’t mind we even went to the mall shopping and Walmart lol my husband slept as soon as his head hit the pillow the kids and I were up another hour or so.
