Bahama Bay Resort

Hi

Has anyone any thoughts on this resort?

Usually book a villa in Kissimmee but considering a resort this year?

Does the davenport area have any advantages over Kissimmee?

Any feedback much appreciated!

Bahamas bay Lisa has a couple of apartments there. If you click on her review links there is quite a lot of feedback about the resort in general.

We like it, peaceful, lovely clubhouse and "beach" but it does require a car to get out and about though, possible with Ubers potentially if pushed, But I think a car is really a must.

It is quite large - see if you can work out where on site you will be there are scattered pools which may appeal more potentially with kids.

It's a regular contender on A Place in the Sun USA.

We've stayed at BB about 4 or 5 times but it was more than ten years ago. It's a very nice resort with about four separate pool areas (at the last count - it has been extended since we were there). We still stay in a villa about a mile away so we love that area.

Within about 2 or 3 miles of BB on the 192 there's enough restaurants to have dinner at a different one every night.

There's a BB DIBB owner who is always happy to help.

Never stayed actually in Kissimmee I'm afraid.

Stayed there 12 years ago and it was lovely, I'm booked to go there again this May. cannot wait !

Short cut to WDW as well if you're interested avoiding all but about 100 yards of the 192.

We stayed at BB in 2015. The resort was lovely, very large apartments and great pool. The restaurant there does some gorgeous food. I would go back there if we don't stay on-site.

We’ve stayed with virgin previously but we’ve booked with Lisa this time . I cannot wait to go back. It has everything we need , beautiful apartments and peaceful .

We stayed here on our first visit to Florida in 2014, lovely quiet resort, spacious inside, nice pools and grounds 👍🏻
