OKW studios were available and the same price as POR with upgraded dining plan when I booked for January 19 (I wanted the murphy bed and QS restaurant). I paid around £220 per night before tickets.

What dates were you looking for, because check in for OKW/SSR stopped in September for free dining, not 31st October like the rest of the resorts. I know there were a lot of October planners who were upset not to be able to stay there with free dining.

Yeah it was end of October
We are not going this year so were going to definately try to get back for 2020. The kids will be 4, 6, 8, 10 at that stage. Last time we were there was 2014. Its been awhile and i would love to go back but stay onsite if possible. Just need to decide 3 weeks August or 2 weeks October. |

We booked a 2 bed villa at okw through my magic holidays. We were worried we were going to be moved due to the overbooking last year but we wasn't.

Just called up to swap from POFQ to OKW for first week of summer holidays. 2A and 2C cost an extra £350 in a studio, which was much less than I thought, especially with the upgrade from QSDP to DDP

Remember SSR is undergoing a 2 year refurb starting later this year, which will likely take out a 'block' at a time from inventory. This comes from 'breakage' or the 3% DVD own in the resorts, which they otherwise put out as cash bookings.
This may reduce SSR available to Brits a bit. Also post Star Wars, all bets are off as to what will be offered 2020.
