One day at Universal... what would you do?!

As the title suggests... we're thinking about doing one day at universal this august. What would you do? Is there enough time to cram park to park?! Suggestions welcome!

You probably could if you plan it wisely but it will feel very rushed. Depends on crowd level too.

My son and his wife did this a couple of years ago. They were there from park opening to closing, made a list of what they wanted to do at each park and went for it! They said afterwards they were exhausted but it was good fun.
I can`t see how you could do it in peak periods though (this was start of October) and I doubt you could do it with small kids either. In that case maybe just pick 1 park and enjoy it

There is so much to see and do that you would be rushing. Perhaps just 1 park this time and try to do all the bits you want.

Make a list of what you want to do and go from there.

Thanks for the advice so far, one park sounds the most realistic... so which one!? I have a 13DD and a 10DS, plus the DW. thanks in advance

I always do universal in one day and manage to do pretty much everything. Staying at Disney and not having a car it makes more sense for us to do it in one day.
We get a park to park one day ticket and include the express pass. We go for park opening and leave at park closing and manage to fit in everything. It is a busy day but we take a big lunch break at Hard Rock Cafe and a few snack breaks throughout the day. We wouldn’t be able to do it without the express pass but even in the middle of July when it is busiest we have been able to do everything.

What do you use to get to Universal from Disney? Taxi via the concierge or Uber/Lyft?
Thanks

Taxi the first time and then an Uber the last time I went. Uber works out cheaper and is really easy to use.

I took my 2 nieces to Florida for just 3 nights last September and we had one full day in Universal and one full day at the malls and outlets. We stayed in the Royal Pacific Resort for one night to take advantage of early entry and front of line access. We visited both parks, it was a full on but fabulous day and we had time to do everything we wanted to, we will definitely do it again!
