Booking dining online

I've just been checking out how to book online reservations via the Dutch site (thanks for this useful tip!)

I've just managed to book my dining reservations for May, even though our trip is more than 60 days away...

Not sure if this is normal for online booking? Thought I'd share as I had in my head that online booking was at 60 days, just like booking over the phone. Hopefully this will be of use to some people. My email confirmations came through straight away

They are testing the system at the moment to allow bookings further than 60 days, but they may have to cancel bookings, depending on changes to restaurant hours etc but they will let you know

When I booked the agent told me that they were thinking about starting to allow reservations from 6 months out. I think that was what she said. I haven't looked yet, still got my fingers crossed that Colonel Hathi's will be a Plus character meal. X

Good to know! I'll keep an eye on my emails just in case anything gets cancelled.

Nice to be able to book a bit earlier than expected - I like to plan early!

Colonel Hathis will be premium character dining, so prices will be like Inventions and ADC

Boo! I guess gone are the times where you could get character dining on a Plus level. X

At the moment it is a quick service that only opens at peak times to help increase capacity. However DLP have confirmed it will be converted into a new character dining location - I believe later this year.

No news on which characters but as it is located in Adventureland I would expect perhaps a Jungle Book, Aladdin, Lion King type affair.

Nothing has been confirmed regarding characters. It used to be a counter service restaurant in adventureland. It's being refurbished right now. I think it's due to open Summer/Autumn.

It's the Dutch version of the DLP website. You just go to dining, and each place you can book has a button to click to make reservations. I made some for August, so it is accepting some further out than 60 days. X
