MNSSHP and Hopper ticket

I plan to do MNSSHP on Halloween but how do I ensure my hopper ticket isn’t used in that day to get in? I plan to have both on my magic band. Should I not? DH and DD have ultimate tickets so not an issue for them. But I don’t want to use a day of my hopper ticket in error. I want to be able to get in about 4pm.

The last time we did MNSSHP we had 10 day tickets and the party was an 11th day. It just seemed to know that we were using a party ticket to enter. We had both linked to MDE and just scanned our bands.

We have previously been in this position too & when I enquired at Guest Services prior to the party date, I was told that so long as we didn't enter the Park until 4 p.m, using the dedicated entrance for party guests, the system would automatically use our party admission, rather than a day from our Magic Your Way tickets. in my experience the party entrance is usually on the right as you approach & there are cast members holding up signs to guide you there.

As is said above, there are dedicated entrances for party guests, so I'm pretty sure they set up their scanner things to just look for party tickets on your Magic Band and not take your other tickets into account.
