Seaworld - With an Infant?
Hi all,
We go next week for ten days, not really a theme park trip as we will be going with our 11 mth old. However, seaworld has a pretty good deal with 2 parks (seaworld and aquatica) for around $100 pp. Its tempting me, I'll admit. Firstly, is it crazy to do a theme park with a baby, and even if we manage, will there be anything for him to enjoy? Thanks, all advice welcome |

Getting Excited

We went to sea world with our 6 month old and he seemed to really enjoy it. Especially all the fish/shark tanks and dolphins. There was plenty for him to look at. We had a sling, so that if he was asleep we could still go and watch the shows etc.

We took our son when he was 9 months. While there isn’t much for him to ride etc there’s so much to look at. He was happy looking at all the animals and the decor and watching the rides zoom past.
There’s a cute show with dogs and cats and such which was also a hit. He slept in his pushchair when he was tired and there’s lots of shaded areas to sit and air conditioned shops! |

SeaWorld will be fine but I would get a sling. You can't take strollers into shows or queues. It is much easier to pop them a sling especially in the queues.

We have done all of the Disney parks with ours at 8 months and 14 months. There’s a lot of sensory stuff which they enjoy and my little one in particular loved character meets. We’ve never bothered with Sea World but I can imagine there would be a lot for a baby to see.
I would definitely take a sling if you can. I didn’t use mine all the time, but they were invaluable when the kids were tired or my arms couldn’t take any more! |
