Getting Fast Passes for Slinky and Avatar?

How have you been getting on getting FPs for these rides at the general times you would like them?

I will be logging on at 60 days out so hoping there will be availability.

What time of day can you start making FPs

I've given up on trying to get Avatar FP's. Been trying daily from 30 days out (staying off site), at regular intervals. No joy.

How many days are you onsite for? From looking at availability currently you are unlikely to get them if it is just a couple of nights, and the further into your trip it is, the more likely you are to have a choice of times. You can normally book them at 12

Keep trying. We had allocated days at each park that we can't shift and still managed to get both FOP (twice) and SDD. At 57, 54 and 50 days out.

We had no trouble with FOP but didn't manage to get Slinky Dog.

I will be trying to get fast passes at 60 days for our 2 week holiday. What is the best strategy for getting Avatar and Slinky Dog fast passes for 6 of us? Is it best to start trying near the end of the holiday on days we have planned to be at the relevant park? Any help would be great. Thank you 😊

Success with FOP (party of 11) for mid/late afternoon.

Nothing at all for Slinky Dog :-(

I managed to get both at 60 days, and for 2 days each. I did the AK day first then the HS, then the other AK day and HS. Didn’t book them in date order - first day is at MK. One FOP is later in the day than I had hoped so will try and change it nearer the time, but can live with it if it means I get to ride it 😄

We are there for 8 days and going to both parks Twic so will have two tries get them.

So is Slinky Dog worth waiting in line for 60 minutes + ?

Looking to go to HS at least twice and both times been unsuccessful in obtaining FP's.

Am planning to use EMH's on our first morning to ride it, but don't want to 'miss the benefit' of the rest of the park being empty just to stand in line to ride Slinky if it's not all that.

So - worth waiting in line during EMH or not ?
