The time difference from TPA and MLB to Universal and WDW are very similar. I have flown into TPA and driven to the Hard Rock several times often tagging on a few days at the Hilton Melbourne beach. The drive times for both journeys were very similar, admittedly there are tolls to Melbourne but that won't matter if you're on a shuttle. I always have a rental car and use Alamo, where the tolls are fairly insignificant compared to how much a holiday costs me.

I am willing to give it a go as we save so much time flying from Bristol, last time we went to Orlando we waited over an hour just for magical express and that is without immigration, and then stopped at a number of hotels before reaching ours, I think it all works out in the end

I’m in the same boat and don’t fancy a 90min drive after all the travel.
Can anyone point me where best to get some quotes for a transfer - both Tui and other recommendations

Hi Fatboyslick,
I was looking for same info as you and found another thread with various input which may be helpful to you. Here is the dibb link hopefully. https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho... php?t=1217168 Just for reference I've been on Skippy website for our trip in June, from Melbourne Airport to Kidani Village with 6 adult's & 2 children which comes to $416 return.

We're flying with Tui from Manchester purely because the Premium Economy on the Dreamliner is FANTASTIC and it's my 40th birthday we're booking the holiday for. The transfers are always a case of let's drop off at numerous hotels etc from our experience and that's fine if you're happy to just look out the window for a couple of hours. Last time we stayed Club Level at one of the deluxe hotels and got them to hire a limo for us. Sadly, can't afford to be that extravagant this time but will DEFINITELY be private transfers. We're only doing the Disney parks so no need to hire a car, taxis will do. It's all about what is important to you though. If you think a car would be handy, like others have said, it would probably be as expensive or cheaper that taxis and no waiting around on buses.
