And is £57,000 cheaper than The Langley

Thanks for checking in on us!

Just to counter that. I was thinking how big it was for 300K. That same 300K would get you a 2 bed flat around here.

New builds that size and spec go for 600 to 700K. And then don't talk to me about council tax bands. Any 4 bed is band G with 1 bedroom flats being band B and 2 bed flats are band C.

There are no band A properties at all. Not even studio flats.

It’s huge for £300k ! Don’t whatever you do move down South! A small two bed terraced new build is £287 where we live and that’s not even in walking distance of the town!

Beautiful and huge house! As others have said, don’t move south you’ll get a granny flat for that price 😭

We have a NE facing garden. We bought the house when the children were younger and it was great because we get sun during the day but also have shaded areas so the kids could play at one end of the garden after school without getting burned in the summer! Now they are older and don’t go in the garden to ‘play’ it’s only me that the sun affects.

We have sun from morning until 5.30pm in the summer.

It wasn’t a deal breaker for us, we needed the size o& house for our family and the amount of sun in the garden was right down the list after bedrooms, size of lounge, garages, parking etc.

It is , I do wonder whether if people remain homeworking so don’t need to live daily commuting distance of work in the long term how that will impact on the property market.
I know if we weren’t tethered by my husband’s work we’d move out of the South East tomorrow.
