Virgin points and ANA to Japan - now can do one way!

Before, when you wanted to book a ANA reward flight, you had to book a return trip in one go.

Now with this, you can bag it just one way if you want - say as a treat in Business or First for the way out or home?

I've literally been on the phone to VA about exactly this. She was very helpful and said it was 65000 points pp econ return, 95000 points premium return and 120000 points UC pp return,she didn't say what the taxes are though. she also said a good use of points and upgrade vouchers is flying via hong kong, so now we're looking into maybe a cheeky stop over there.

Think you must be talking flights with Virgin itself with air miles / points - pretty sure ANA does not do London to Hong Kong.

Yes, she said I could book a VA flight to Hong Kong using my reward vouchers and then book HK to Japan ANA using my points, and the same going back. It is however quite confusing as the information Virgin staff relay is never consistent!
