Universal Stuidos - New Park

Morning Dibbers!

Does anybody have or seen when the new Universal Studios Park will be opening? I've read reports that work is back underway.

We were looking to go back in 2024 (health permitting) but if they are looking to open the new park up in 2024/25 we would rather wait until 2026/27 to go & experience the new park as well.

Would expect a 4 year build out from now midway mayhem on youtube does some good coverage.

I think it�s to early to say for certain people are predicting Epic Universe will open Summer 2025 to Spring 2026 but no one actually knows at this stage and it�s likely to be 2024 before it becomes clearer.
Universal are usually much quicker than Disney in getting new rides done Velocicoaster opens in June while Tron doesn�t even have an opening date but Epic is going to be such a big project it could easily run over

It is highly rumoured internally they have set 2025 as the planned opening date, I also believe a city official said to some press it was 2025. Its expected to be a few months yet before construction really ramps up and a 4 year contraction time frame does line up with the construction that took place on other big resort theme parks (Shanghai Disney and universal bejing). The improvements and extension to the road that links the existing universal parks to the new one (Kirkman road) is due to be completed in early to mid 2025.

Early 2025. It was 2023 but is about 18 months behind now
