A dreadfully sad case and I have no intention of expressing an opinion on an American criminal matter.

15 pages regarding something that has happened on another Continent. Not one post about yet another disgraceful case in the UK namely Harry Richford where the East Kent NHS Trust pleads guilty over this baby death. Criminal negligence.

Not one person facing a criminal charge. Bizarre.

Zero comparison ... and this whole forum is devoted to a place situated on another continent, so it’s hardly surprising that such a high profile case there warrants discussion ... especially as it is representative of a deep racial inequality issue on said continent.

I have no desire to comment on another country’s judicial process but one thing I would like to know is if the officer would be protected in prison if found guilty?

If not I imagine he would be hoping for the chair over a spell in a prison, he’s a dead man walking in prison.

You can’t base a decision on the potential behaviour of the population. It can only be on the evidence. And it’ll probably burn anyway.
