Great film! I worked with a Thai charity at the time of the tsunami and to say it was traumatic was not enough. And I wasn’t even physically there at the time. I avoided this film for a long while, but when I did watch it I thought it was a really good film and really got across some of the turmoil and stressful situations people found themselves in. Highly recommend it

Watched Argo with Ben Afflek, about the American embassy in Iraq when it was invaded and the subsequent rescue mission. I enjoyed it. I enjoy real life films.

We loved Argo, saw it years ago but it’s never turned up on TV since x

Cracking film, but not quite real...
The Canadians, justifiably, were more than a little miffed at how they were portrayed - reality was, they put themselves massively in harm's way to help out.

I agree! We thought it was going to be your typical teen slasher but no it tried to go deeper than that 🤣

Sleeping With The Enemy on Star. An old Julia Roberts classic. Patrick Bergen is the creepiest, cleanest man alive. The character of Ben has one of the greatest hair and beard combos ever seen in a film it’s insane.

Watched Greenland last night on Amazon Prime. Dd’s choice - we were a bit dubious. But, it was actually good - intense, but good!

Just watched Unhinged with Russel Crowe, good tense movie, really enjoyed it. Think it’s on Amazon.
