I was going to Tesco to do a last shopping trip on Wednesday but as DS and his fiancée won’t be here over Christmas now and it will be just 3 of us, I don’t need so much. DH is night shift so he’s offered to call in Tesco at 6am Wednesday morning when he finishes work with a list for the fresh veg, bread and milk. Hopefully, the shop will be quiet then so less risky, plus it means just one of us going instead of 2 as I don’t drive so would have needed him to take me.

I’ve got a ‘Click & Collect’ Tesco order due for Tuesday morning for my turkey & fresh bits, plus a few extra treats I forgot on my last shop!

I’ve got mine ordered on my click and collect order to be collected on Wednesday. The local farmer delivered my potatoes today and gave me a lovely cauliflower and a cabbage for being a regular customer, so we will have those as well.

Tomorrow-DH is going to pop into the supermarket on way home from work. If we have forgotten anything I’ll pop to the local Coop later in the week but hoping tomorrow’s shop will mean it’s done.

i'm fairly convinced buying today won't be much different to buying tomorrow/wednesday. It's probably all sat in fridges waiting to be wheeled out. I keep mine under the stairs in a bag as its chilly in there.

I've got a m&s slot at 5pm today. Was going to go out wednesday to sainsbury's but having decided we only need three items i'm just going to get it tonight instead. Do you just go to the front to the queue and give your name? not had a slot before.

Have salad stuff, fruit & veg delivery from W'rose tomorrow at 8am. Anything not there I will nip into local farm shop if necessary. Always have a couple of brussel sprout sticks rather than loose as cut the bottom off n keep in a vase of water in porch as that they they last twice as long. Only two of us but buy lot of veggies to cook up & use for our Bubble & Squeak Boxing Day meal 😊
Merry Christmas all
