A sad "Santa" story

Some sad news came out of the North East over the last day or two - a well known and loved "Santa" in the area Rhod Maclennan passed away due to cancer on Christmas Day. He worked almost to the end doing Santa Zoom calls from Bamburgh Castle. If you get a chance have a look at a photo of him if you can he was a proper traditional Santa and will be sorely missed in the area.

Very fitting that he died on Christmas Day. He looked so real and made a difference to so many.

He looks the perfect Santa indeed.
So sad he was taken far too early but what a lovely legacy of memories he leaves behind ...
