Bedroom ideas

So I've been in my first house for a few months now and things are starting to look a little more homely.

What would you put above the bed? Any suggestions for a blue paint, that isn't too cold?

Thanks

We went for a big, ‘Beachy’ picture. I look at it and for a moment, it takes me away from wet, cold winter Falmouth and into tranquility. I imagine us sitting on that veranda debating on a swim.

It is actually a white wall and a very white base on the picture.. but seen under artificial light.

I had Dulux Acai Berry mixed up for an accent wall, looks lovely with other white walls in our bedroom. Its a sort of plum colour, adds some warmth but ob not a blue.

This is what we have above our bed - one of my boys is away at University now but I still have it up!

Sorry I don't have a better picture.

I remember making it with them. It was just a cheap blank canvas from somewhere like The Works.

That's the sort of thing I love. Priceless!

That said I have a framed P and O cruise advertisement poster (I bought it like that I didn't do it myself) over our bed. All the other pictures are of my children though.
