Small electric fan heater
When ever I go away in the winter I normally end up freezing in whatever hotel. So I bought a small electric heater that has proven to be a god send.
Could I take this to Disney with me? I am wondering if security would let me through the airport with it. |

Are you staying in a Disney hotel? Being cold is not something I have ever experienced in a DLP hotel, usually the exact opposite...!

I usually pack a hot water bottle just in case as it doesn't take up much space x
I'm not sure how safe it would be to use a heater via a European adapter? |

I think you are staying at Sequoia lodge in a lakeside room, in which case I doubt you will be cold.

Isn't it funny, I don't feel the cold, but my DW does, and Sequoia Lodge is the ONLY hotel in DLP that we have both felt cold in!
I read so many stories about how cosy the hotel is, yet when we went a couple of Christmasses ago, it couldn't be further from the truth. Our room had a window that had been forced open, presumably so someone could have a crafty smoke, and would not close. The air-con was set on cold, and couldn't be adjusted to heat up the room. We spoke to the concierge, and they despatched a maintenance man, who dealt with both issues very quickly, but it took ages for the room to warm up. We managed to get some extra blankets, which did help that first night, but to add insult to injury, there was no toilet paper either! I think the front desk were tired of seeing me! Once the issues were sorted out, things improved, and we were not freezing, but we found the whole hotel far from the cosy images that others describe. We usually stay in the Santa Fe, and have never had an issue there at any time of the year. |

We stayed at SL in December 2019. It was freezing outside but boiling inside and I usually feel the cold.
I very much doubt you'd be allowed to use a fan heater in the room. |
