Light saber price increase

Light sabers from Savi's workshop are now $219.99 plus tax. I'd love one but just cannot justify the cost.

Does anyone have one and do you still play with them? Same question re the droids?

Interested as our son has recently gotten into Star Wars.

How much is the experience with tax?

Same as the droid, does anyone have any info on that too?

Can you take items as hand luggage?

Gosh so many questions oops lol

My husband has one. Its more of an ornament for us as he has his on display.
And my daughter did one of the droids. It was a very expensive trip😂 think its chucked under her bed! More of a novelty thing. Both went as hand luggage. Hope that helps

My experience is a bit different to Sammie’s - I think it depends on the person who buys it!

My daughter (24) bought a droid and the carry bag thing and it quite often comes out and about with us as it’s a great toy to play with my nieces. It gets a lot of attention from others in say a pub garden (we never use it somewhere where it would be annoying for others so do it away from people). My nieces are both four and are endlessly entertained by the droid. So is my daughter ... !

But they are very expensive for what is basically a toy. I wouldn’t buy one myself but she chooses what she spends her money on, obviously

My son is desperate to do this experience but I’ve been struggling to book it on the Disneyworld website - the page keeps getting eaten by stitch! Does anyone know the best way to book this experience and how many days in advance etc? Xx

Fair enough. I am a huge nerd and the droid is a maybe but the light saber a no go. Cheers for that.

My daughter would definitely describe herself as a nerd

My brother (also self professed nerd, age 28) bought the light sabre and robes and so on. I dread to think how much it all cost
