New Years Eve

So have actually booked NYE at Epcot, however having a rethink due to not being able to activate tickets till a week into the holiday and the start of Xmas break and would like a few days before the main crowds hit, and thinking that the last time we went dd was only 5 so was fast asleep and safe in her pushchair, think it may now possibly scare her as it’s so loud and busy and from the last visit a lot of drunk people around so now have no idea what we could do that would be fun but not so crazy for her to deal with, we will still have universal tickets active but don’t think I’d want to take her to city walk either! Any ideas gratefully received🤞

That’s a good idea, never seen the water pageant before, that would be nice to do, and wouldn’t need park tickets for that either possibly

We debated Epcot for NYE last year, we thought it might be fun seeing all the countries celebrate New Years with different time zones but...then decided it might be abit too rowdy for us so we opted for Seaworld instead, found that much more family friendly & it had a lovely family atmosphere to see the new year in !

NYE is manic in the parks, one year when our Grandson was 6,we booked one night in The Legoland Beach Retreat,it was our best ever NYE over there, the park does an early NY countdown,it was fantastic, amazing fireworks and not crazy like the Disney parks.

We also did Epcot on NYE and some places had outside discos that were far too noisy, we eventually settled on the park area in Canada that was set back enough that we were alone, it was quiet and still got to see everything.

Had planned on doing Seaword but made the mistake of going on Infinity falls at around tea time, got so wet we had to leave to get changed then made the last minute decision to do Epcot.
