Car hire 2/4 door

Quick question - know this is part gamble, so will always go with what we'd be happy with as minimum... last time, I booked Compact car with Alamo (travelling 2 adults, 2 children, buggy and stuff!) and with Save Time and other tips, walked to the garage and picked a minivan (type thing - big).

Just looking at prices now - Intermediate, for example, and there's a 2/4 door option which is a little cheaper than a 4 door option - I've never seen a 2 door one out there, what do you think? Safe enough to go with 2/4 or definitely get the 4 door? (obv hoping can pick something a little more roomy again, although not as big as before - let DH choose that time!)

We've booked a 2 door many times - but they don't seem to have any, so always get a 4 door

I would say if you could live with a 2 door if it came down to it then take a chance! If you know you couldn't manage then pay the little extra. There are only 3 of us but we booked the intermediate SUV last year as we like more space and to be higher up.

Thanks all; may splurge the extra £7 on that but still hoping for choice of cars when we get there!
