This will be our first time flying with Thomson and I have to say I don't like their 90 day policy I think it's utterly ridiculous. We've always flown TC and could choose our seats the minute we'd booked the holiday no waiting up until midnight, that's crazy. I ended up paying for extra space seats just so I could secure myself and my daughter 2 spaces rather than waiting until the mad rush.

Taking advice from this thread And as I had already paid for reserved seats I phoned Thomson this morning to request how much it would cost to upgrade to have extra leg room so I could pick my seats. As there are 11 off us and 5 small children we wanted to sit together. I was told it was a short flight and there weren't any extra leg room seats. I don't know what he meant by a short flight as I told him we were going from Manchester to Florida and I wanted to pick my seats. He just said he could book them now for me so he did at no extra charge and we are all sat together so that is one less thing to have to sort out. I'm panicking now and I'm going to check my flight details as someone at work booked Manchester Manhatten to Florida and phoned up to ask why she had no meal on the plane the day before! Fortunately virgin came to the rescue. Just checked phew!Could a short flight maybe mean we are not on the Dreamliner?

Not sure I understand any of that.

Hopefully someone can help as I'm intrigued by your post.

They booked from the Manchester in the United States. They hadn't realised until the day before they were due to fly! When you search Sky Scanner it shows 2 Manchester options. When they phoned to ask about a meal they were told there wasnt one as it was a short flight!
