Gift Card pick up prior to stay

Has anyone ever picked up their gift card prior to their onsite stay?

I�m only aware that you can pick it up at the massive Disney shop in Disney springs with ID.

I think where you pick it up depends on who you booked with. Direct with Disney is only the massive store in DS

In 2015 we booked through Thomas Cook. Who booked our package through Netflights. We were very surprised to get our $200 x2 gift cards (2 rooms booked) before we left the UK. I don�t think this is the norm.

I�ve had them once given before we left and also were at reception when checking in at Disney.
