How long before trip do tickets need to be paid
Hi all, just wondered as the last time we went we didn’t have to pay the balance until two weeks before on our park tickets but now it seems a lot of them are asking for the balance 90 days before, just wondering if any of you had come across any company that gives you a longer than 90 days before? Thank you

I think attractionticketsdirect.co.uk and orlandoticketdeals.co.uk, allow you pay a deposit and pay the balance 28 days before you travel, but double check in case I am wrong.

The really nice agent i spoke to at orlandoattractions.co.uk said 8 weeks so as to not miss the fast pass window. as i'm on site when i'm able to book for my stay in 2019 i'll aim to get paid with 10 weeks to go, make sure i've got it all sorted and linked ready to go go go!

well I don't quite understand the "balance due" thing for tickets only
it's the customer who enters the departure date. so unless the tickets are dated, or the ticket seller issues *not valid before* tickets, the customer could enter the departure date as 8 weeks later than their actual departure date and effectively pay balance on departure day ok, that wouldn't make sense, and the real issue is with the FP+ window for disney tickets ... but ... well, that balance due date on tickets only has always seemed odd and useless to me. (or maybe it's there so that the seller makes sure they have the tickets ready for shipping soon enough to send to the customer. just wondering; |

Not quite the same thing as you’re asking but some ticket sites ask you for your departure date for two reasons:
1. To ensure they send you the correct tickets for the year you’re travelling, 2. To prioritise ticket orders (ie. those travelling sooner are processed before those travelling later). The balance due date will be set some time before this departure date to ensure the tickets are paid off early enough so that they can be sent to you in plenty of time before you travel.
