Flight planning help - traveling out on different dates
Just after some advice for next years trip.
I’m planning on flying out with dd a week ahead of dh as I work in a school so can go for longer but dh has limited holidays. In terms of booking this I guess I’ll need to book the flights separately even though we want to return on the same flight. Anybody else done this? How did you go about finding the flights? Is it possible to book this as a package at all? Also I’m happy to fly indirect out but dh will want direct and it’ll be direct back. I’ve not seen a filter to search on the likes of skyscanner that allows you to search specifically for a mix of indirect and direct, is this possible? Thanks all |

You will need to book separately. Once you know what flight you are on, book the same flight for DH. Or vice versa. It is unlikely to sell out in the moments between the two bookings.

ITA Matrix allows you to search for indirect one way and direct the other.
matrix.itasoftware/ Click on Advanced controls just under the destination box. Try entering "MAXSTOPS 0" in the box where it had "Return Extension Codes" in Grey. You can't book via ITA but it will give you prices and can book direct with the flight company or via a travel agent once you've found flights that suit you. |
