First full day - parks or not?
Hi, first post!
We are due to land MCO at 18.35 so realistically expecting to get to the villa anytime between 21.30 and 00.30! Should I plan to spend the following day just chilling in the villa/pool or is that a waste and should we get on with going to the Parks?! |

As you will no doubt be up very early on the first morning I would say take advantage and go to one of the parks!

If you follow 99.9% of the UK you’ll be up at stupid o’clock so make the most of and hit a park! Walmart and the pool can wait until the afternoon.

I would let the weather decide, that’s what we normally do.
As mentioned above... jet lag will mean that you may rise earlier than expected, so you will get the opportunity of having a full day in the park, it’s normally that night when you can’t keep your eyes open past 8.00pm. |

Parks!
I wouldn't plan a full day as I normally prefer a quiet first evening (or am asleep by 8 as someone already mentioned ) but absolute take advantage of being up early to get ahead of the queues. |

Yeah - park - used to do AK as that was a shorter day until Pandora came along. Maybe HS? As will be starting to tire mid afternoon. We have done water park couple of times, good way to rest and aclimatise - lots of suncream though!

Yep, early breakfast en route to whichever park you or your kids want to go to first, spend the morning there then back to the villa via the supermarket.

I was struggling with this but am quite pleased at what we've decided - breakfast out then half of us go food shopping whilst the other half unpacks & supervises kids in the pool. Then we're all going to do World Showcase at Epcot & stay for the fireworks. It seems silly not to take advantage of the silly o'clock wake-up times and we'll probably be exhausted by the end of the fireworks but I'm glad we;re getting World SHowcase out of the way so we can concetrate on the rest of Epcot another day (it always seems overwhelming - not to mention all the walking - to fit it all into one day).
