Alamo Brits price gone up massively!

A couple of weeks ago Alamo Brits were coming in about £440 for 2 weeks in July for a fullsize SUV.

Just checked again today and now it's £730!

I've just booked Alamo with usrentacar - used them lots of times - for £500.

Annoying though as we could have done with the extra drivers. I've paid the extra few quid for cancellation protection so if Brits does drop again I can just book that.

Worth remembering with Alamo/brits if you see a good price book it as 'pay on arrival' they don't take any card details so you don't have to pay anything till you get there, and if you see a better price elsewhere easy to cancel.

Alamo Brits 2 weeks ago £560 for 7 seat van, for 3 weeks at start of July, today £920. Sick or what.
Going to have a look around, but liked the extra drivers included with AB.
