Made me think of the recent first world problems thread .

a vote her for using google with my samsung phone, worked great, but overheated in protective case so a mount of some kind and no phone case definitely recommended

Try the Navmii app. I've had it recommended by three people and will be trying it out in under 2 weeks in the US.

Didn't use the car for airport runs, so trunk space wasn't an issue. Did a fair sized Walmart shop (beer, wine, crisps, sundries, etc - a good ten bags worth maybe?), no fuss. There's a mesh roller you have to secure to allow the roof to fold, which cuts a lot of space from the trunk.
If you check the car hire pictures thread, I put some photos up on page 37.

Thanks for the info

Overheating is always a worry, esp. on the windshield.

NavMii looks good. Still need to give it a whirl in the UK.

NavmiI wins out over Here in terms of features and interface.

Although the issue of importing still remains.

Many thanks to those who put Navmii on my shortlist.

My favourite is Copilot live. License allows use on both Iphone and Nexus (Android). Been using it for years, especially like the live data when at home and traffic is jammed. It can be used online for traffic data, but generally I use offline when in USA.

Alternatively I would suggest google maps offline.

NavMii has a lot of features I'm finding very useful:

- adding stops to a route
- find my car (once I've parked)
- switch from driving to walking (after car parked)
- day/night mode
- audio player control built in
- voice navigation
- volume control incl. voice navigation muting
- browse map during routing
- speed cameras
- supports what3words

Could you tell me if CoPilot offers these for free?

Also if CoPilot supports import of KML or KMZ?

Has anyone used these since the completion of Disney springs? I know that some roads have changed from looking at Google earth and wanting the best app for internal Disney transportation.
