Mobile Package holiday Europe 2018

Hi all

We have been looking at package holidays for Europe for next year now they have come out.

Is this the best time to book?
Will there be more accommodation/resorts made available in the coming weeks?

We don't know if we should book now 4 adults and 1 child or wait because it's a bit early at the moment.

Help!

Many thanks

I book early because I like to get the first choice/Thomson free child place.

If I have a specific place in mind I always book early but I also like to spread the cost. If you leave it later you may be more limited for the number you need to book for.

I usually book very soon after release to get a free child place but even without this the cost generally goes up with time. However this year I've noticed that there are no free child places for any of the hotels I've looked at in school holidays. One hotel I looked at is available for 2017 but not 2018 - I emailed them to ask which UK operators they were using in 2018 and they said they expected the same as this year but had not signed the contracts yet. So there may still be more become available. I'm holding on a bit longer but would still expect to be booked over a year in advance.

I've always found that the prices are really expensive when they first come out and by late August and September the prices have come down significantly. Having said that we don't have any kids and avoid school holiday dates. x

thanks for your replies everyone, we have seen a holiday on Thomsons, which is quite a it more expensive for the same dates with Thomas Cook, and we don't know what to do. I think if it was just us going I would have booked it, but the son and his GF are coming and I don't want to make a mistake for them.

I think the package holidays for next year are very expensive. I couldn't get anything under £5000 for 10 nights for 4 Majorca all inclusive. That's august. I am going to wait and hope they come down but if not I'm going to book easyJet flights and hotel separate not ideal but I'm not paying £5000. I am going to be checking ba holidays though and if they the great deals they had for this august I think I will be forgetting Spain and going back to Florida.

Personally I am waiting and hoping packages come down in price.

This is what we found for this summer cheapest I got was £4800 for 4 of us for 2 weeks. So we booked a villa and flights £2300 total and a 4 bed house

Have a look at Jet2 Holidays. They have a free child place finder if you need it and brought back some great prices when I was looking last week for Aug 2018

That's really good. Who did you book your villa with and where are you off to?
