Kona cafe at the Polynesian.. any good?

Good to hear!
Does anyone know, can you get a good view of the fireworks from the Poly? We should be finished our meal by the time the fireworks are due to start so might just stay put for that

We had a lovely meal at Kona on our 2014 trip, as we couldn't get into Ohana, this year we did Ohana and loved that too, and could see the fireworks from our table, the view was stunning.

We had a really nice meal at kona last year, had the lapu lapu cocktail as well, it's SO strong!

Always wanted to try here so have a lunch ADR booked for this July.

This is on our list for 2018!as we've not made it here in 11 years. We've been to T Rex though and IMO the food there is disgusting so I'd say good swap probably.

Lovely food but awful service, it was VERY busy and it took absolutely ages to get served though to getting the bill.
Sadly, although I enjoyed the food, we wouldn't go back.
