Our feelings exactly about Cape May and CP. Chef Mickeys (breakfast) was our first ever character meal. It was manic, food was OK but overall still enjoyed the experience.

We are going this year and DD will be 18 and we all said we wanted to go again. We enjoy the food which is good and lots of variety.
Every time we go to WDW we also have a first morning tradition at Crystal Palace breakfast. Again the food is good and lots of variety and Winnie the Pooh and friends are great. We also used to get early entry to MK with "empty" Main Street but sadly this is no longer, but this hasn't stopped us booking CP breakfast. We thought about changing to Be Our Guest breakfast but we weren't impressed with food choices and since we loved the character and food at CP decided to stick with there.

Yes we also love Crystal Palace & the early entry to main street, do they not do this anymore?

We did it last year, got a reservation for just after 8am & made sure it was on a day where there wasn't extra magic hours..

So the park didn't open until 9am, but we got in about 7.45 maybe earlier..

That's exactly what we did previously but they have recently changed it. The opening show is now no longer at main gates train station which is watched from outside the park but is now in front of the castle so everybody is let in before opening to get to the castle in time for opening show. Such a shame as we loved the early entry into the park
