MDE and ADRs when tickets start BEFORE stay onsite

Just looking for advice before I go on hold calling Disney.

Has anyone had this issue where by, if they log in to the app for My Disney Experience, it picks up your ticket start date BEFORE your hotel date but if you log in online, it picks up your hotel dates before your ticket start date?

So basically, we travel on the 5th August (180 days yesterday). I'm trying to book an ADR for yesterday but only the app showed 180 days.

We have a mid stay reservartion for the 15th August at the Contemporary and the website keeps picking this up as the first date so said 190 days before booking ADRs.

I can't find a way to unlink our hotel so that it defaults to our ticket start date of the 5th August.

Is it a call to Disney or am I missing something glaringly obvious?

book the adr the old fashioned way and then link the reservation in mde later?

yeah - it generates an adr number which you can add later...

imagine you are off site, anyone can book adrs 180s in advance MDE or not..

Unless theres another way to log in and do it separate from mde...

I am thinking log out, search restaurant and time, select and move the booking forward - maybe able to do minimal log in or just add basic dets to secure booking...

just tried but I'm getting this at present

Regardless of tickets or onsite stays anyone can book an ADR at 180 days out. The onsite part is only relevant for being able to book your first 10 days onsite at 180 days from check in. You should be able to book for 180 days from today even if you don't have park tickets.
