You can hire them off Ebay cheap usually free post to you then when you return it you have to pay postage about £5

We hired one from andy at Florida Discount Car Hire who quite a few people on here have mentioned. Reasonable price, comes pre=programmed with the place you are staying and very easy to return - they supply pre-paid envelope.

The first car had the bonus of a built in sat nav. The second didn’t and we used the here we go app on the phone. It worked really well and we are not particularly techno people !

Hi there,

Have you already booked with Alamo yet?

I ask as we have just booked our car from Orlando International and Alamo have a section on their website for deals and one of them is for Gold + GPS (Sat Nav)

It might be worth checking out if you haven't, Its under the deals section of their website. I would post the link but im not allowed to post links yet.

Already booked our car with Alamo Brits and done OLCI and skip the counter on the .com site
The Gold+ package us a lot dearer than I've paid
We only require 2 drivers so getting GPS ourselves works out much cheaper

As above.. NAVmii or Google maps with the offline maps downloaded.

I did find o nthis trip that the Chevy Tahoe Andriod Auto system would use the maps offline but required a data connection for searchers...

Car had 4g and in built cat nav so was not an issue.
