Mobile Character dining breakfast or dinner?

Is there any reason why character breakfasts seem more popular than dinners?
Being on the dining plan I'm leaning more to the character dinners during the late afternoon evening as the cost difference doesn't really matter.
We're thinking have some cereals in the room, hit the park, have a QS meal around midday and then TS in the evening.
It just seems that most dibbers choose character breakfasts rather than dinners. Am I missing something?

Generally I think it's because breakfasts are cheaper, an early reservation can get you into a park earlier than the advertised opening hours, it's a fun way to start the day.
Lots of people do a mix of both, which is what we plan to do.

Our Adr day is 2 weeks today.
The only TS breakfasts we've gone for are Chef Mickeys and Rainforest Cafe.
CRT, Akershus and Tuckers House character dining will all be for dinner.

We love Tusker House breakfast, it's our favourite character dining.

We prefer lunches and dinners when on ddp.

Breakfasts are cheaper then lunch/dinner and not everyone is on a dining plan.

Breakfast can get you in the park earlier than the crowds (unless EMH day) and if you get an 08:05 you can be done by 08:50 and already in the park ten mins before opening.

Not everyone likes to do the same. For us it may be breakfast in the room but it's more likely to be a TS lunch and a QS dinner/tea then your QS lunch and TS dinner/tea!

not much difference, but gratuities would be slightly more on a meal that costs more even if you're on DDP

Timing seems to be key for the breakfasts to make the most of an empty park.
Would we be better doing tuckers for breakfast rather than rainforest cafe?
Is there access into the park from within rainforest cafe after breakfast or do we have to go back out and use the main entrance?

We tend to go for breakfasts to get into the park before opening. It's also the best value if you want a big breakfast as the only other buffets are in the hotels.

I have 19 ADRs planned, only 4 are character Breakfasts, the rest are lunch / Dinner. There is more conversation around the Character Breakfasts but I think they are pretty spread out really.
