Eating at a resort if off-site
Last time we went we stayed at POFQ. This time were staying off-site in a villa, but would love to have a wander around POFQ, for a reminise and maybe grab a snack in the food court. Is this possible? If we're at disney springs, can we get the river boat taxi there, or is it only available to on-site resort guests? Cheers

You can wander round any WDW resort and not even spend a cent. We do it regularly by bus, boat or monorail - all free. We've never stayed on site.
It's best to park at DS as you say and leave resort parking for residents or those with ADRs. We are eating at Narcoossees for a special dinner next time. Mick
