Mobile Are the parks being ruined by 3D rides?

More and more these seem to be popping up. Universal being especially bad for it.

Upside being more 'rides' in a small space.

Downside, they are not proper rides.

I don't think they are, my wife and 2 of the 3 kids wont go on the traditional roller coaster type rides so we can only go on the simulators as a family.

As someone who can't really see 3d unless quite close due to vision issues you would think I would say yes. However I don't think they are ruining parks. I think they have their place within parks and I still enjoy them even if I don't see any 3d but it really does make me jump when I do 😂

I think there are enough in the Universal parks now. They were good rides but once you have done one you have pretty well done them all. I fear that 3d rides might become the standard go to ride option and the variety in ride experiences might be reduced. Doesn't help that they make me quite nauseous. I can only ride one 3d ride every now and again, it took me ages for the nausea to wear off after Simpsons.

Was disappointed with Transformers at Universal. It was just Spiderman with a different film.

I think parks are ruining good coaster rides with virtual reality googles

Don't ride 3d rides as they do nothing for me.

I think if you have limited space it's a good way to increase the number of rides and still give people a good experience. If Universal didn't use them there would be less rides as they only have a finite amount of space.
Someone on here was complaining the other week because Disney aren't using them so you can't please everyone.

Look at Kraken at Seaworld. I love this rollercoaster yet is being shut down in March for several months so they can install virtual reality to it. So wrong.
