Esta mistake - i Feel sick..

I've emailed them but it says it may not be answered for 2-3 weeks. I cannot find a contact number for them... would any kind dibber point me in the right direction please- feeling so sick here...

I did exactly the same as op - though I was filling it in for someone else.

The esta was refused like you we also realised my mistake, we had to call an office in Washington, we got the number from the esta area of the website, this was 2 years ago though so policy or procedure might have changed.

It was all sorted over the phone and all we had to do was apply again, it did cost twice though but it was my fault for the error so we didn't have an issue paying again.

I've tried this number and get an automated message telling me that it's a toll free number and that international calls will get charged then I get cut off. Happened 4 times 😡😡😡 Its going to be a long night I'm afraid.

We answered incorrectly for our son and he got declined, we emailed them and they emailed back saying 2-3 wks but they actually replied the same day saying they wiped the first application and to do it again. Fingers crossed for u.

I really do hope this is sorted for you.

I do know someone who travelled last year, in error done the same thing not sure what question whether drugs or offences , for their 11 year old .
Anyway numerous calls to USA , no help atall said you have made a threat to our country etc and therefore had to make an appointment with the london visa to get a visa for her.
They did manage this within about 6 weeks I think and this was last August they travelled.

Really hope this is a one off and was referred for whatever question they answered incorrectly but just to pre warn you it could be a trip to London. but I really do hope you are sorted
