Check my trip app

Have downloaded the app but cannot seem to upload my trip details. It is asking for a 6 digit reference code from my flight confirmation email. I booked through thomas cook and the only reference code on the email is 9 digits long. Where on the confirmation will i find the 6 digit number please.

We booked flight only with TC and found the reference on the document attached to the confirmation email - it was under the return flight details and called filekey

Not sure about check my trip as I use myflights which is great. However this only works for some airlines depending on their booking system. I suspect that TC is not supported by checkmytrip as they are regarded as a charter airline rather than scheduled and may well use a different booking system.

Sure somebody will be able to confirm this, but may also depend if the flight is with TC if simply on another airline but booked through TC which may then allow access.
