Pirates of the Caribbeans ride - wow what a let down

Just made dh watch it with me. Well it was excellent, but we prefer the older style versions. I love the old rides where everyone can go on together.

I love pirates of the Caribbean! I love all the proper original rides although it wasn't there on opening day in Florida, it opened a couple of years later. There are something's that shouldn't change

Pirates is my favourite ride! It's an original, and the films were based on it rather than the other way round.

Probably so if you've been to WDW previously, but for a first and possibly only time visitor then POTC has to be worth a wait imho, if only for pure nostalgia and the history it represents.

Again, just my opinion and not being contentious.

Pirates is one of my favourite rides.

I can see why someone would be disappointed if they thought the ride had been based on the film. The original film was so much better than I expected given how dull the ride is. We do have to go on it every trip though.

I do like the ride but i feel it could be improved a lot.
They could do so much better and theme it much more.
I cant remember what it was before POC.
I dont think they have changed it much tbh.
