Mobile Favourite savoury ddp snacks

We are busy planning our trip for Oct 2018. Can you get sandwiches/ salads as snack credits? My eldest son is a type 1 diabetic so whilst he can have whatever he wants lots of sugar isn't ideal. So hit me with your best savoury snack credit suggestions.
Thanks

My favourite is the chicken fried rice and Yak and Yeti QS, they have changed it now so the snack credit serving is a lot smaller than it was but it is still a tasty filling option.

Quite a few QS do soup and they serve them with crackers which I like too.

In October you'll have food and wine at Epcot... just too many amazing snacks to list!

As mentioned above you will have the Food & Wine festival in Epcot in October so you will be spoilt for choice!

In AK they also have a stall that does different mac&cheese pots for a snack credit: a shrimp one, a pulled pork one and I think a plain one? They are so good!

The pretzels are savoury, they have a jalapeño cream cheese one at typhoon lagoon which is amazing

My youngest (11) has T1 too. We tended to just let him have whatever and bolus/correct for it. In all honesty, none of us ate very much at all outside of our main meals on DDP! There are plenty of snacks out there, but most are sweet or full of starchy carbs. I can often find the sweet snacks easier to deal with than the unpredictability of starchy carbs. I find the bread in the US very sweet and we need to bolus much more than I would have at home when he eats it.

My DD (8) is also T1 and her first trip since diagnoses was last Aug.

We adhere to food rules at home, going outside our rules when we decide to do so and are prepared for the consequences (lack of sleep!) but we literally allowed her to choose whatever she wanted on holiday.

We guessed, mainly correctly (phew!) and got better with how her body reacted to heat, walking, humidity and the food as we went on. As she’s on a pump corrections or suspensions were easy affairs. She also has a Dexcom CGM so keeping an eye on her was easy. Her HBA1C after three weeks in Orlando was 44 so we did ok. Carb info on a list seems to not exist tbh. Allergies Disney are great with but nutritional info seems to pass them by a tad!

As mentioned, the obvious sugary ones were actually easier to deal with over the unknown carbs in some of the other stuff.
