We are just doing Disney for 1 day this year to visit Pandora and rest of time will be visiting Universal.

We are not doing Disney at all in August, just concentrating on Universal and having a more relaxing holiday and using RPR facilities more. My DS is 11 and he's quite happy not going to Disney this time.

For Disney? Not really as we've booked beach club with DDP for next year so have to buy the tickets with the package.

We may buy them for universal I we go as I've read people getting some good deals on converting the uk 3 park tickets when there to annual passes so that is a possibility although we'd only do a day or 2 at universal next year as it will be predominantly Disney with missing this year

Have a wonderful holiday
Thanks will look for them

I just picture going but not doing Disney... kids are 8 and 11 just now
We have 2 sets of friends going next year who are both doing Universal but not Disney [their kids are the same age as ours]

I think we will knock Universal off our list and just do Disney for the 3 weeks... I just cant see us being so close and not going into the parks..!, its the draw of the magic of Disney I guess

We went last month for 12 days - spent 2 at the beach and just had Busch/Seaworld and Aquatica tickets for the 10 days we were in Orlando. We have 3 kids, youngest is 2 and found we had loads still to keep us entertained without Disney

We only dropped Disney because we are returning in August though and have the 14 day ultimates already booked for that holiday. If you visit fairly frequently and are confident you'll be back soonish then concentrating your time on other parks is fine

We didn't do Disney in 2016 or 2014 and ours are 13 and 9 now. We did do a 3 night Disney cruise 2014 so that was "Disney" but not main parks we also did the water parks, booked a character breakfast and did downtown Disney ( Disney Springs) and Disney boardwalk... plenty of Disney things to get a fix without doing the main parks! Not sure if we'll do a park or 2 next year might do Busch Gardens I feel a bit Universaled out now x

Yes we have been and not gone to Disney. We are going next week and just doing Kenedy and Legoland.

Kids are happy, mine are 13,11 & 3.

We planned to do Universal and SeaWorld/Busch this year. I've slightly crumbled and arranged to buy a single day Magic Kingdom whilst we are out there. These are expensive but a fraction of the ultimate price. It might be an idea if you need a Disney fix.
