New York guide book

Hi I’m looking to buy a New York guide book to help us plan our first time trip to the big Apple
What guide would u recommend

The Loney Planets Travel Guide was perfect for my first trip last year. I also got a New York pop out map from Amazon which was really helpful and folded up nicely in my bag (I used the map in the back of the travel guide as well

)

I've got the same as above and have found them both really useful. I'm also using the Ulmon app and will download the subway app closer to when we go. I'm struggling a bit to find out how much we'll fit in within a day and trying to group activities by location so we're not traipsing backwards and forwards on ourselves.
