Toronto The Third -Day 15

Travel home day started with a rude awakening over the central tannoy to tell us the power was out at 7.30 am. We dosed on and off till 9.00 then got up and had showers. The plan was to eat the food we had left, but this wasn't looking hopeful. It was 11 degrees outside, very windy and pouring with rain. The perfect day to be going home.

The power came back on at 10.30 am and we had a feast of bacon, omelette and pancakes with ice cream. We stripped the bed and washed and dried the bedding and towels. We cleaned up and watched the last episode of season 2 of Stranger Things.

After a while it was time to leave. I wanted to stop by Walmart to pick up some more M and Ms (peanut butter) and then we were off to the airport.

We had our last drinks on Canadian soil. We made our way to the gate and left on time. The flight was 6 hours 5 minutes and with holding ended up being just a wee bit more. I watched 2 movies and we had some food.

We landed around 6.15 am and our flight to Glasgow was 8.20 so we made our way to Terminal 5, A gates to wait for our gate to be announced. After an uneventful flight to Glasgow where I finally got some sleep, we were back on Scottish soil and DS2 collected is.

So our Toronto trip is over, it's likely going to be 3 years before we're back, but we've had an absolute ball again. Thanks for reading if you have.
