Mobile Should I pack hay fever tablets

Hello, I suffer from terrible hayfever here, daft question but do the same conditions exist in Florida? Should I pack those tablets too in my already enormous toiletry bag?! Advice would be very welcome thanks

Hi

Same conditions won't exist - different plants = different pollens but if in doubt, pack them. You'll kick yourself if you don't - you don't want to have to waste time that could be spent in the parks, finding a pharmacy instead!

Happy holidays.

I have horrendous hayfever but never get it in Florida. It will all depend on what kind of pollen you're allergic to and whether they have it there.

I'd still take them though as even if you don't get hayfever they're good for prickly heat or hives.

my DS has hayfever but doesn't suffer in Florida. However, I keep him on his tablets whist we're there as an extra guard against prickly heat/eczema.

Yes, but possibly to ward off prickly heat/insect bites rather than pollen.

Thank you all so much, I never knew that about the prickly heat, which I get, and the bites. In they go with the rest!

I get bad hayfever over here, but never had it in Florida. I take my tablets with me though, just in case.

I had to buy antihistamines in USA last month. I take Benherdryl think its called Acrivistine? Anyway I could not get this over the counter at CVS - all they had were the one a day type- these make me drowsy and I cant take them.

I would take what you are used too, rather than wast time like I did in a drug store.

this is the issue I had, trying to work out the differnt drug names for the same product, in the end I gave up and bought a selection to try, only suffered once in FL with hayfever but will pack my meds for next time.
