DH gets hay fever out there when we go in June. I reckon it was some sort of long hay- like grass. He has Fexofenedine which he takes with him and I use for mozzie bites. I do know you should never take other peoples prescribed tablets! but you can buy it over the counter there, well that's my excuse

My wife suffers really badly with hay fever while in the UK but doesn't in Florida, but we still pack them just in case I would not risk it for the hassle of popping them into your luggage

After the year that ds2 came out in a horrible prickly heat rash, I'd never consider leave no them behind. We all get hay fever in this country, but never have in Florida. We have however had suffered varying degrees of prickly heat, last year we took them in the uk for hay fever and then carried on taking them while away, whether it's a coincidence or not I don't know, but none of us suffered from prickly heat.

my kids suffer hayfever and my son is also bad every summer with hives so we always take anti-histamine with us as I know the one i'm taking works ok for them and no drowsy side effects

I'd take them too, they're quite easy to pack and won't take up much room. Bonus if you don't need them!

I always take them. But for bites and prickly heat rather than hay fever . They're a god send!
I'm allergic to horses, took my tablet before riding tonight as usual. Absolutely fine apart from a couple of sneezes whilst grooming, again normal. . Now looking like I've been punched in the face! Something else has irritated me tonight and I have no idea what. Out they come again!

Take them. I suffered horrendously in June in Florida. I bought some Benedryl over there as that's what I have here. I work in pharmaceuticals but never checked the ingredients. (Stupid I know, I was just so happy I thought id found something I have in the UK) anyway, the USA Benedryl contains a sleeping agent that ours don't! Not what you need when your driving Take something that your body is used too from over here
