Spending Money and the DDP

Morning Dibbers!

This year for the first time we have the DDP. We usually stay offsite and therefore eat offsite, with this in mind I am unsure about spending money and add to the fact we have a 4 night Disney Cruise I am starting to worry about whether we have have enough spending money.

So we intend to take £2600 we are there from September 9th till September 27th.

We have paid/set aside the following already:
Hotels
Car (but not fuel)
All Tickets (Disney, Universal, KSC)
Cruise (but not excursions and alcoholic drinks)
Cruise Tips
Car Parking at the Port
Meals through the Disney Dining Plan (with the exception of 4 dinners and the odd breakfast I need to pay OOP)
Tips for dining but I am hoping the $200 gift card will cover a large amount of these)

Is there anything I am missing? Will the £2600 stretch for us, just 2 adults?

I think £2600 would be more than enough even without the dining plan or gift card. Unless you really want to shop loads and drink large amounts of alcohol each day. It's plenty

I also think that's loads unless you drink lots of alcohol. In 2016 for 3a1c 8 nights on
ddp our tips came to just over $200.

Thanks both, we are not huge alcohol drinkers but as we wont need to drive back to the hotel we will probably each have a cocktail or something with dinner, but not get drunk drinkers.

The only intention is to visit Trader Sams on our wedding anniversary for the evening but again it will be a leisurely pace and not there just o get drunk but actually enjoy the flavours of the drinks.

You'll need next to nothing when on ddp. Last time for 2 weeks we spent $500 including tips and quite a lot of booze (we like a drink with evening meal) that's 2 adults 2 children. Kids bought loads of tat in that too.

The $200 giftcard should cover tips for 2 so all you need is spending money. £2600 should be plenty even with shopping.

Alcohol is expensive. An average drink with a meal is going to set you back a minimum of $7 so $8.40 minimum inc. tip for every drink. That adds up very quickly.

That will be plenty. As a family of 4 the most we've ever taken is $1000 plus the $200 gift card and that covered tips, taxis, offsite meals, shopping

Thanks All, mind firmly at rest that we can enjoy it and not be thinking about every dollar we spend

On the back of this I might take £700 to £1000 off this but take the credit card and if we do need it we can just pay it straight back when we get home.
