How much were your flights to Orlando in Aug 2018?

Am considering August 19 as our next trip. Have looked at pricing for Aug 18 to give an idea on price but often its cheaper just after release so would be keen to know peoples prices who booked in Aug-Nov 17 for this year.

What airports, airline and direct/indirect, and price please (per person, but we will be 2ad & 2 ch), as well as when you booked it.

It looks like £2k will be a typical price (we are fine with indirect) and possibly with hunting a couple hundred less (based on 2018).

Thanks

We've paid £460 each for August with a BA fly drive from Manchester to Miami. When looking at flying into MCO we couldn't get a price close to that, that included a car. Previous years I have never paid more than £500 in-direct from Manchester to MCO and wouldn't either.

Man-JFK-MCO £480 with Virgin booked beginning of November. I spent months looking for the best deal, when you see something you are happy with book it immediately because it won’t be there later! Sky scanner and Kayak are your friends in this search as well as the Dibb- in previous years I have had these kind of prices just from heads-up from the Dibb.

We finally booked end of October 2017 for Man-Dub, then Dub-Mco on two tickets to give us an overnight in Dubln.

Dub-Mco 13/8 - 30/8 £2800, if I moved it one day it would have been £2600 for 2ad and 2ch aged 15 and 12. Man-Dub return was £350 but is less now, and we had to add baggage on because it was on a separate ticket. But we wanted to get booked, sort out hotels etc so we went for it.

Virgin Atlantic wanted £4640 for the same dates Man-Mco.

I have screen grabs from Norwegian from Gatwick into Mco who wanted £3200 for roughly the same dates but as we are in Leeds the whole Heathrow/Gatwick transfer put us off flying from Gatwick.

As our usual airport is Manchester I only really paid attention to bargains flying out from there and the bargains seemed to be flying Man-Mia. But we won't be hiring a car so we want Mco.

Hope that helps.

Well end of July, £850 each incl seat booking, direct with Thomas Cook from Manchester. I keep checking and they never came down.
Saying I booked to go August is no good, as it may be back end, coming back when schools are back. If you go out mid August and come back a day or so after schools are back, prices plummet.
