Flights before Christmas

Hi all,

Looking at booking to go out on or around the 21st December and was wondering if anyone had flown around this time before and how busy the flights were. I usually fly PE, however, if the flights are normally quiet would rather save the money and move around in the economy cabin to stretch out over a few seats.

Thanks in advance.

Mobile

Absolutely mobbed they will likely be over sold and bumping people rather than quiet. Equally though Christmas day and boxing day are frequently almost empty on the way out

We flew out on Thursday 21st Dec which was when our schools started their Christmas holidays. We sat in economy and it was quite busy but there were a few empty seats. The lady in front of us had the row to herself and laid down the whole way there.

We flew back on Weds 27th Dec and the plane was full. I had the pleasure of sitting next to someone else's young teen who jabbed me with his elbows all night long

I don't mind a full plane on the way out but obviously a full plane on the way back is horrible when you're trying to sleep upright and stop yourself from dribbling and/or snoring!

We always fly out around 15-16 December to Tampa & often hear it is a completely full flight.

I also would have thought one of the busiest times of the year.

I always fly at that time of year, always full or almost full with just a few empty seats, including Christmas Day.
