I have checked in online and have the Check in ticket with the barcode. I want to skip the counter too. I cannot see this option anywhere. Can someone help please. We are picking up at MCO in case anyone asks.

Who have you booked with?

Once you complete online check in you should get a confirmation email. Log out of Alamo.com and then log back in, it should be on the right hand side of the page.

Yorkshire_ Dan,

There is no option for me to do the "skip the counter".

I'm sure that there are others who are in the same position as myself.

I can do ( have done) Savetime and I can also do On line check in.
There is no facility or option for Skip or bypass the counter.

Edit: I have tried as you suggested to headpin but definitely not able to select any option for skip the counter. I booked through Ebookers initially and paid in full.

Edited at 11:51 AM.

Sorry, should have said that it is with Alamo. I'll log out and hopefully see the option.

Many thanks for the advice.

I believe that you do either OLCI or SaveTime. NOT BOTH :-)
Not quite true. I have booked my car with Alamo independently of the flights and I have completed OLCI. I will be skipping the counter and going to the garage.

I think it's slightly different for Virgin bookings.

When it's Virgin I think OLCI is sufficient as I believe the skip the counter is included. But that's for Virgin bookings only.

Have you pre-paid?

I have tried every way to get bypass the counter but have failed, so I guess its going to be the hard sell at the counter for us if the kiosk doesn't work.

Yes and yes. And when checking in I added the fuel option as we are always in a last minute panic on way back to airport. And, checking current Orlando fuel prices, a couple of cents a gallon I can live with. Maybe adding the fuel has confused the process?
